I live in Yuma and whenever I drive to San Diego, I prefer to get off the I-8 and take Old Highway 80 into SR94. It takes a little longer, but goes through some small towns with some great roadside stops.

You missed the heaven and the 18 level of hell on the other side, but you showed us all the nooks and crannies I'd never seen before on the other side, a lot more building structures than I thought. The nuisances are annoying but it's improved alot since 2000 because regions are competing for tourism in Vietnam so local authorities take complaints very serious. You're just too nice you're didn't report like the shoe shine incident in Saigon. Thank you for the tour.

Finally, I've been able to see Marble Mountain. When I was stationed about a mile north of Marble Mountain in 1970, I had a view of it through our mess hall windows but was never able to see more than the lowest stairs as it was off limits to military personnel. I've seen photos of some of the caves, but this was fascinating seeing the way in which they are all interconnected. This was a beautiful (though much too brief) tour! Many appreciative thanks!

I lived in Malden for 5 years. I didnt mind it except for one thing. The noise pollution ! My one small corner has so much noise. Construction work, ppl yelling, car motors , tree chopping, hammers banging , ppl slamming doors. I lived on very busy streets in Dorchester, Brookline, The Bronx and Mass Ave and I swear NONE of those places are as noisey on a daily basis like Malden . The commuter rail and orange line are even muffled by the constant busy of the other elements. Malden is a nice place but its a magnet for incomprehensible disturbances

Wow, now I know why you don't walk from An Bang beach to Danang beach, they seem so close on the map, but the ride just confirm otherwise, however car will be 15-20min faster, but still quite a distance. I think this is the only route for tourists to get from 2 places, but it's the first time I see clearly every inch of it, thank you.
